Tampere Deck scale model

Tampere Deck is a very significant project in Finland and Tampere. Scale model of the forthcoming new part of the town was built next to hotel Torni, so that people could have a chance to explore the area beforehand.

We designed the lighting of the model by combining conventional lighting and videoprojecting. Lighting of the model changes among the time of the day to morning, evening and night scenes. Every day at 6-9 pm video projectors add some video content to the surfaces of the model. The  projectors can support for example different events by suitable video content. We utilized this possibility for the opening ceremony of the model.
